The ever-growing Consumer team has an immediate opening for an Account Director to help oversee a top tier CPG brand.
This is an excellent opportunity for communications professional who wants to be part of a fun loving team that encourages critical thinking as much as creativity (aka the best of both worlds!). We’re looking for someone who has 6-8 years of PR, experiential, and influencer and integrated agency (IAT) experience, and that will bring energy, excitement and passion to the position.
What You’ll Do:

M Booth is looking for a Digital Strategist (DS) to support a rapidly growing and diversifying portfolio of digital business. The DS would primarily work with our Google clients, but know that we also support consumer, corporate and technology business from around the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Execute digital/social strategies from concept to completion

What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Influencer Strategist on our Consumer team, you’ll be helping oversee key influencer initiatives for an anchor beauty business, with a lot of opportunity for growth and visibility. - Experience managing large, Fortune 500 clients (Big Tech a plus) in a digital/social role
- Experience bringing in new business, managing and growing accounts
- Strategy expertise across core digital and social channels
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience creating social media strategies and managing team to execute them
- Understand how to read a brand book/VIS ID and evolve it for social (think playbooks)
- Development and/or management of social influencer campaigns

Our Flexible Work Policy:
We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.

Who You Are

What You’ll Do
- Be a thought-leader and critical-thinker for clients and agency; meaningfully contributing to integrated marketing strategies – translating client’s brand objectives into successful influencer-led programs.
- Lead end-to-end influencer procurement process from influencer recommendations to negotiations to servicing the partnerships.
- Vet and use social tools and technologies with a solid understanding of the paid social as well as influencer social analytics.
- Attend regularly scheduled client meetings (zoom or in-person) representing the team, owning the agenda and sharing recaps.
- Lead Influencer strategy across accounts; develop strategic recommendations and sell-in major culture-forward programming.
- Serve as a trusted voice and advisor to clients
- Day-to-day management of collaborations and partnerships
- Proactively report on competitive brand and trends to client
- Strengthen relations with and bring relevant tastemakers, brand partners and influencers into the fold of brands on an programmatic and ad hoc basis
- Report on competitive brand and lifestyle trends to clients; demonstrate ability to be nimble and develop one-of-a-kind “ways in” for brands harnessing these trends
Client Leadership:
- Actively provide strategic counsel and be a strategic voice for the client
- Build strong relationship that establishes trust with clients
- Supervise and direct account teams on client deliverables
- Create and sell in influencer marketing programs with synergies between PR + organic social + paid social
Program Oversight & Management
- Design work plans for programs
- Ensure work output is the best it can be (of self and team members)
- Collaborate within integrated agency teams and with agency partners
- Problem-solve quickly when issues arise; be solution-oriented in all scenarios
- Create and track budgets; understand profitability
- Set goals and KPIs for your programs
Team Management

- Established and growing network of relationships with influencer agents, managers, etc.
- Proven experience with Influencer Marketing and up to date on trends, best practices and innovations.
- Demonstrated understanding of digital culture, is a versatile writer, clear communicator, and engaging presenter.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of marketing experience; experience with beauty, skin, and personal care brands a must
- Solid foundation in public relations – traditional media, digital, and nuanced integrated campaigns
- Proven ability to lead projects, communicate effectively, think strategically and build of-the-moment and future-forward collaborations that transcend culture
- Ability to “roll with it” and be nimble when there are changes to pathways and needs to counsel on pivots
- Experience with tastemaker/influencer ID, negotiation and activation management
- Ability to counsel and provide ongoing strategic POVs
- The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in consumer marketing specifically: traditional public relations, large integrated programming, social strategy, and influencer marketing (paid and organic)
