Auntie Anne’s
Knead

The Project

To drive cultural relevance for Auntie Anne’s, we leaned into the growing trend of sensory branding, recognizing that the brand’s most powerful asset is its unmistakable aroma. We moved beyond the food court by “bottling” that nostalgia, positioning the brand’s first fragrance, Knead, at the intersection of comfort food and modern lifestyle aesthetics.

Our execution centered on a high-concept “Pretzel Parfumerie” pop-up in NYC’s Soho, designed to blend Auntie Anne’s heritage with a sophisticated retail experience. We treated the launch like a luxury drop, hosting an exclusive preview for editors at Allure, Forbes, and The Cut to build elite credibility before opening to the public. By pairing warm pretzels with a high-end fragrance atmosphere, we turned over 1,200 attendees into active brand advocates.

The strategy successfully translated into immediate commercial and media impact. We sold out the entire fragrance stock online by the following morning and secured over 600 media placements, including Good Morning America and WWD, ultimately generating over 3 billion impressions.
