Marriott
Super Bowl Suite

The Project
By tapping into the “cultural rocket fuel” of celebrity lookalike contests, Marriott Bonvoy transformed its plateaued Super Bowl Suite from background noise into a viral juggernaut. While previous years relied on passive luxury, the 2025 campaign capitalized on a 760% surge in doppelgänger trends to offer fans much-needed relief from a tense election cycle. By deploying dozens of Jason Kelce lookalikes across New Orleans’ French Quarter, the brand replaced a stagnant activation with an authentic, high-stakes “hunt” for the real NFL Fanbassador.
This strategic pivot required no new budget, we tapped into innovative storytelling to turn existing assets into a FOMO-inducing media event. The result was a massive reclamation of the spotlight, securing a stunning GQ feature — and over 2 billion impressions and a staggering 22,371% increase in media coverage. By leaning into the zeitgeist of community-driven hijinks, Marriott proved that a legacy campaign can regain its crown by simply listening to the pulse of internet culture.
