As CEO (and proud colleague) there is nothing more meaningful than reading words like these on the PR Week site this morning — especially when they come from our team about life at M Booth. My heart is full.

Today, PR Week has named us a Best Place to Work. And the best part? This award is voted on by agency employees and it’s their survey input and their comments that are considered by the judges.

This year, we are recognized in the large agency category for the first time because of our accelerated growth in talent and clients. But our mindset remains firmly rooted in being nimble, creative, entrepreneurial, passionate and compassionate.

Like many leaders, I have lost a lot of sleep over the last 20 months wondering about the well-being of our people.
And for me that has fueled a relentless focus on our unique people-first culture — ensuring that it doesnt just survive but thrives and adapts in meaningful ways for our future.

While our people-first focus has been our everything for decades at the agency — our DNA is being tested like never before. It’s beyond gratifying to know that all our efforts are authentic, impactful and paying off for the people that matter most.

Our data tells our story: this is our 10th “best place to work” nod in the past 7 years from the “big two” who cover our biz.

We recently launched BeIRL (Be Inspired Relevant Leaders), our opt in, hybrid rallying cry — grounded in new norms, evolved values, management training and open communication and conversations that will propel us forward professionally and personally — no matter our zip code. We must learn forward, unlearn, test, adapt and aspire to role model in every way we can.

So, a big thank you to every Boother who shows up every day in all the right ways. Thank you for your smarts and your hearts.
